The brain region that is responsible for language expression is Broca’s area. It’s located close to F7.
Some protocols that would make sense are:

  • HEG
  • IN(2-11) REW(13-21) at F7. You may include IN(2-38) REW(12-16) at F8 along with it using FRE2C.
  • F7/F8 (bipolar montage), SMR%1C (in BioExplorer) or FRE%1C (in BT4BE)
  • Active F7 F8, ref I(CP5 CP6), FRE2C Squash IN(2-38). This improves the connection between Wernicke’s area – where language processing happens – and Broca’s area

Kim, do you mean word finding problems? I have this problem myself, and a bipolar training at T3F7 was very helpful.
